Vancouver B.C.

This last week, Michael had a convention/conference in Vancouver B.C.  What kind of wife would be if I didn't go up there with him and support? Right?

This is a huge suspension bridge that we saw weeks ago on Yahoo.com.  Well, since Yahoo.com recommended seeing it we had to go. (we are not on the bridge yet!)
The bridge was busy when we first got there so we went on the Cliff walk first. Basically you were really high up walking on bridges too. You can see the main bridge behind them in this pic.

Michael and I on the cliff walk. After hiking in Huang Shan this just wasn't that scary like some people would think.

Standing on a glass floor to see how high we were.

Finally on the bridge

Went on a nature hike were she found this slug "isn't it a cool banana slug eh?"

They had a tree tops walk where I felt like we would run into Eewoks from Star wars. No such luck.

After the meetings all day we'd go sight seeing. This was right after I ate the best Gelato for not being in Italy! The guy that owns Bella Gelotaria  is the one that makes the ice cream. I can brag about him a lot but I won't. But he did make us a flavor to our request and when we went back to get it, it wasn't finished. So he whipped up something from what he had to be very similar to the taste just for us. It was good!

Pam and I at the Olympic Couldren. This is what we would do while the men were in their meetings.

We stopped in Seattle to visit Mikes brother and his family. This seen is golden! We had played the game Sorry with the two children. This little boy is 4 year old and he beat us, and of course was pretty excited. This picture is about an hour later and the conversation goes like this  "
Nephew:  Remember when we played that game sorry?
Mike:  Yes, what are you trying to say?
                                                            Nephew: Remember when I won?
We just thought it was so funny because Michael is always a huge competitor and likes to rub it in when he wins. It was great he was getting it back from this 4 year old boy. Of course it was the innocence of his excitement and not rubbing it into Michaels face, but.... to the rest of us it was!

A friendly little spider!
