Happy 14th Day!

For everyone around the world, this day can mean a lot of things! For us it is Valentines day, Chinese New Year Day, The First day of Spring Festival, Bad Luck day and the second day of my week of "Every two days".

Valentines day: Self explanatory. We aren't doing anything for it, maybe get a blizzard at Dairy Queen since where we live they only have McDonalds. V-Day has never been that exciting for both of us. Why show our love for each other on just one day. We do it everyday! (haha had to say it)

Chinese New Year: This year It fell on the 14th. We haven't had much sleep due to all the huge, loud, booming fireworks going off since yesterday morning! It was awesome to see! More pictures and stories later!

Spring Festival Starts: Not sure about this, I just know I get the whole month of february off because of it.

Bad Luck Day: Our tour guide told us that the numbers 2 and 1, when said sounds like a bad word (bad luck or something I don't remember) and then in China 4 is a bad number because it sounds like death, and means death so 2-14 is a bad day here.

Last of all my "every two Days"
Michael's birthday starts my week of "every two days" on the 12th. Then on the 14th there is V-day. On the 16th Mikes Dad's B-day then on the 18th My Dad's Birthday. It's a busy time!

Anyway, we are still haveing fun in Beijing. We've seen the Forbidden City, Climbed the Great Wall, experienced and still experiencing the New Years! We are tired, but it was all worth it!
