Things I have learned Being "Homeless"

The last month, Michael and I have been homeless as we wait to go to China (leaving Monday the 14th) We have been bouncing from my parents home, to his parents home since August 10th. Here are a few things I have learned.



1. We accumulated a lot of stuff living in the same apartment for 6 years. Hopefully I'll remember to throw things away or donate more frequently when we get a new apartment! I also realized it is a pain to Move! (this was the first time I really moved with Big furniture)


2. We are grateful for Awesome neighbors that helped us move! We recruited all the guys in our four-plex (and Stacy) to help! THANKS AGAIN!
3. Without stuff in the apartment, it is a really big apartment! I forgot how big and clean it could be!
4. Humming Birds are really entertaining to watch. Don't believe me? Ask my Sister Jodie and My mom, who sat out on the porch with me for 3 hours straight, just watching the birds! It's really fun when you have +12 fighting over 2 feeders! There are at least five below!

5. Their wings flap really really fast, and they have cute feet! I also thought they used their beak like a straw, but in reality, they use their tongue. They are also very protective of their food!

It can Pours.... Literally!
And Floods....;-)



#7. My husband is an Awesome Frog saver! (see the two little lumps in the grass??) They like to jump in the window wells and get stuck!

#8 Croquet is a game that needs to be taken Seriously! Especially when Michael is playing. Come to think about it, any game with Michael needs to be taken Seriously. ;-)
