Michael and I have lived in Utah Valley for about 6 years. We have always lived in the same apartment and have always had this wonderful view of the Front of Mount Timpanogus.
For the last 4 years, I have been driving up to Heber City, and always got to see the Back View of Timpanogus.
So After all this time seeing it, we decided to hike all the way up it, camp, and then come down!
It was a lot of fun. Would I do it again? If you ask me now, I would say now because my legs and shoulders are hurting a lot. Ask me when I don't walk like an elderly lady because of the pain, I would definitely say yes! It was a lot of fun!
There were a lot of snow packs covering the trails, Most were really steep and made me nervous to cross! When this picture was taken, I was probably mumbling "I hate snow, I hate snow" ;-)
We took many breaks, this was a fun one because right behind us was one of many waterfalls.
The top valley just below the summit where michael and I set up camp for the night.
Hiking up we ran into a few deer, look closely at the one on the right! They weren't afraid of us at all, they just kept creeping up towards us! It was neat.
This was the scariest part for me on the way up (you can see the trail going a cross that we had to use going up at the top!) On the way down however... well you can see the trail that I made coming down! ;-) It cut a lot of the hiking going down!
We finally made it home and noticed the "tan" lines we received! Ha
