This Picture is why the title is called Hiking to death! Michael and I were minding our own business, staying on the trail as we hiked in American Fork Canyon, when all of the sudden I looked up and saw this dark thing just barely around the corner ahead. I finally figured out it was a MOOSE staring us down! I took this picture, as it started to walk towards us. A small family caught up to us, and we realized we had the moose blocked in because there were people on the otherside of the trail! Both sides of the hill were steep, but we decided to take our chances with the steepness instead of the moose and climb it a bit to let the moose pass! as it passed I tried to take a picture of it, but started to slide and thought my life was more important then a picture! IT WAS COOL though!Sunday, October 08, 2006

katie na na! *whack* i'm glad you didn't get mauled by a moose.
Now come on, why didn't you stand there just a little longer to get a closer picture??? Moose make good experiences.
Yah, it would have been a better story with a closer picture of the Moose. Next time brave it out!!! No really, you did the right thing.
I dunno... I think you should have gone for a new wall ornament, putit in a full nelson and squeeze.
